According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the fatal crash occurred at approximately 2:15 a.m. on U.S. Highway 281, west of Medicine Lodge. Preliminary findings indicate that Aiden was driving a Ford pickup truck northbound when he failed to stop at the intersection with U.S. Highway 160.
Investigators reported that the pickup continued through the intersection, crossed U.S. Highway 160, entered private property, and struck a parked trailer. The impact caused catastrophic damage to the vehicle.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, but despite their efforts, Aiden Guy was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed that he was the sole occupant of the pickup at the time of the collision.
The parked trailer was unoccupied, and no other injuries were reported.
