The Seneca, South Carolina, community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Geovany “Geo” Noel Campos-Isidro, who passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Greenville Memorial Hospital after a courageous and lengthy battle with leukemia. He was 15 years old.
A lifelong resident of Seneca, Geo was the beloved son of Victor Manuel Campos Aranda and Susana Isidro Castro. Though his life was far too short, he left a lasting impression on his family, friends, classmates, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him through his kindness, resilience, and generous spirit.
Geo was a devoted member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and was preparing to begin his sophomore year at Seneca High School. He embraced school life with enthusiasm, particularly through his love of music. As an active participant in both the school’s chorus and band programs, he found joy in performing and sharing his musical talents with others.
Beyond music, Geo was known for his caring heart and willingness to help those around him. Friends and loved ones remember him as someone who genuinely valued serving others and took pride in being involved in his community. His compassion, warm smile, and positive outlook touched countless lives, even as he courageously faced the challenges of leukemia.
Despite the hardships brought on by his illness, Geo continued to inspire those around him with remarkable strength, determination, and hope. His courage throughout his journey became a source of encouragement for family, friends, and all who witnessed his unwavering spirit.
In addition to his loving parents, Geo is survived by his grandmother, Anna Castro; his uncles, Fernando Isidro Castro, Rigoberto Isidro Castro, Luis Isidro Castro, and Arturo Isidro Castro; his aunts, Maricela Isidro Castro, Patricia Isidro Castro, Reina Isidro Castro, and Carmen Isidro Castro; his godparents, Enrique Isidro Manuel and Esmeralda Isidro; numerous cousins; and dear friends, Gaudencio Perez Laureano and Jorge Hernandez, along with many classmates, teachers, and community members who will forever cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Fernando Isidro Agustin.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Davenport Funeral Home. Funeral Mass information will be announced once arrangements have been finalized. The family has shared that flowers are welcome as an expression of sympathy.
Geo’s passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him, but his legacy of kindness, faith, compassion, and perseverance will continue to inspire all who knew him. His love for music, dedication to helping others, and courageous spirit will never be forgotten.
